Leek and Telford
We're proud to announce the installation of additional defibrillators and a bleed kit in Leek and Telford. With these new installations, we’re making significant progress towards our goal of installing 100 defibrillators in total.
These life-saving devices are part of our ongoing pledge to provide accessible and vital equipment to our communities.
In Leek, a new defibrillator has been installed at the AEDdonate charity shop. This portable AED unit is available to support anyone experiencing a sudden cardiac arrest in the area.
Jamie Richards from AEDdonate said:
“After opening our new AEDdonate charity shop on Leek Derby Street on 29 May, we’re pleased to now see an internal, portable AED unit available to support anyone positioned locally”
We’ve also installed a bleed kit at our Head Office which has been provided by the Kieran Rutter Legacy Fund and coordinated by Dave Swarbrook.
These crucial pieces of equipment will provide immediate assistance to individuals in need of emergency medical care.
In Telford, defibrillators have also been installed at both Aldi and the Salvation Army.
