Our fourth defibrillator has been installed at Cheadle Primary School & Kindergarten, providing lifesaving equipment for schoolchildren and local people in need.
The install comes off the back of our commitment to install 100 defibrillators across Staffordshire, Cheshire, Derbyshire and Shropshire over the next four years.
We commenced this life-saving initiative in October when our first defibrillator was installed in Uttoxeter. Now with the fourth installation on Cheadle Primary School’s premises, the town centre is becoming better equipped to offer residents and visitors a critical resource in times of medical emergencies.
Our Cheadle Branch Manager, Lynne Ransome, said:
“It’s great to see the newly installed defibrillator outside Cheadle Primary School. Not only will this new AED unit provide support to staff, schoolchildren and local residents, it’ll also benefit local football teams and neighbouring schools using the adjacent fields.”
Our Cheadle branch is located on Cheadle’s High Street, not far from where the new defibrillator is located.
We’ll continue to make a positive difference to our local communities, and the installation of this defibrillator further demonstrates how we’re doing just that where it matters most.
