We're proud to announce the installation of a new defibrillator at Waitrose in Uttoxeter. This vital piece of equipment can make a significant difference in the event of a sudden cardiac arrest and marks the twelfth defibrillator we’ve funded as part of our pledge to install 100 AED devices over four years.
This defibrillator will ensure that any customers and staff at Waitrose, or members of the nearby community, have immediate access to potentially life-saving equipment.

“It’s fantastic to see and also be a part of Leek supporting installations of local defibrillators, especially in the Uttoxeter area again. This is a massive commitment from the Society and one the town should be proud of. I have personally seen an AED unit be used to save someone’s life and can’t stress the importance of having these machines ready and available.”
Our Uttoxeter branch is located on Market Place, a short walk from the recently installed AED unit. We’re delighted to have taken this proactive step towards protecting the Uttoxeter community and those visiting Waitrose.
